South African Football Association President, Dr Danny Jordaan has explained his absence from the recent FIFA Congress meeting that was held on Friday, May 29.
According to an official media statement released by SAFA, both the President and CEO were engaged in sponsorship contract negotiations which delayed their departure. These negotiations were concluded on Wednesday, May 27.
